about tv production
ITN Productions is the award-winning independent factual and entertainment production arm of ITN. We produce films, programmes and TV series for major networks in the UK and internationally.
Our output spans from Oscar-nominated, hard-hitting current affairs programming, to high-rating popular factual programmes for broadcasters including BBC, ITV, Channel 4, Channel 5, Sky, Discovery, Netflix and CBS.
Recent productions include the RTS and Broadcast award-winning Interview with a Murderer (Channel 4), the Academy Award-nominated Watani: My Homeland (PBS) and the BAFTA, Emmy, Grierson and Peabody award-winning documentary Children on the Frontline (the most decorated documentary in Channel 4 history).
In the factual space, recent highlights include Going Back, Giving Back (BBC1), Climbing Great Buildings (BBC2), The Secret Life of Pets (Channel 5) and the Caught on Camera strand for ITV.
We also specialise in high-profile, sensitive and dangerous access, spanning elite institutions to hostile environments. In recent years we have filmed undercover and with criminals, in warzones and on police raids, in Harrow School and the Houses of Parliament, with the Royal Family and the Prime Minister.
ITN Productions also produces major series and specials for international broadcasters such as Chris Hansen's Killer Instinct (Discovery ID) and Flight 370: The Missing Links (DNI).
As part of the ITN group we are uniquely positioned to collaborate with our colleagues across the business from leading commercial news operations; ITV News, Channel 4 News and Channel 5 News; to our advertising, sport and education departments, as well as utilising ITN's archive. We have been trusted to tell the world’s stories for over 60 years, and bring a unique sense of integrity to our productions. We have made programmes in partnership with multi-national companies, armed forces, royalty, world leaders and the Houses of Parliament - these relationships are built on trust.
