'A Place for Living' for the American College of Health Care Administrators

In a unique communications partnership, the American College of Health Care Administrators (ACHCA) and ITN Productions are producing a news and current affairs-style programme investigating the developments, challenges and achievements of the post-acute and long term care industry within the United States.

‘A Place for Living’ aims to promote a better understanding of contemporary practices and innovative leadership at post-acute and long term care providers, with a focus on the role of health care administrators, who serve as the catalyst for excellence in such communities.  With the care industry poised to grow significantly to meet the needs of a burgeoning aging population, this programme will challenge perceptions to reveal how these facilities are becoming a vital and preferred place for restorative and long term living.

Drawing upon ITN’s 60-year heritage and expertise in storytelling, the programme aims to communicate the role of post-acute and long term care providers within society.  It will also encourage conversation within the health care administration community, bringing understanding to how these health care leaders navigate the industry through the effects of regulation, funding and payment models, and other challenges to provide improved performance outcomes and valued care communities.

‘A Place for Living’ will be an in-depth, online programme featuring interviews, news items and sponsored editorial profiles of leaders and key organisations, showcasing the great hard work that takes place every day, improving the effectiveness and professionalism of health care administrators and the quality of resident life. The programme will be premiered at ACHCA’s 51st Annual Convocation & Exposition held April 2nd -5th, 2017 in St. Louis, Missouri.
